I serve as Partnership Coordinators for the Florida-Indiana Partnership. The Southern Baptist Convention meets in Indianapolis in June.
For several years, the Convention city has been the site for
a "Crossover" event during the week-end leading up to the Convention.

Steve Blanchard of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana
indicates the need for more volunteers for this year's crossover.
I am encouraging you to consider going a few days early to participate.

It’s time to register for GuideStone’s Mission Milestone 2008 Wellness
Walk/Run in Indianapolis. We need your help to get the word out and encourage
those Southern Baptists you come in contact with day-to-day to get involved
in wellness.
Who: Messengers and other attendees of the annual meeting
   of the Southern Baptist Convention.
When: Tuesday, June 10, 2007, 6:15 a.m.
Where: White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis
Interested individuals can register online at www.GuideStone.org/walk
or call 1-888-98-GUIDE (1-888-984-8433).

The first 500 registered walkers (age 10 and older) to stop by the Wellness
Walk/Run registration table at the convention will receive a free t-shirt.

   commitment to wellness. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we have
a stewardship of this physical gift from God. It is our desire to continue to raise
the standard high and call upon our Southern Baptist friends to get serious about
their personal wellness and begin to make right choices leading to healthier lifestyles.”
